Are you a firework?

I have just watched this video ... and I have to say that it is GREAT!! Of course I've thought about you because we can also read the lyrics  (in English and Spanish), so you can learn a lot of vocabulary and also understand it properly.

  • 2º ESO : Class, THERE ARE a lot of things here. For example, there are SOME people. What other things are there? Do you like this song? And the most important question: Are you going to show me that all of you are FIREWORK and that I should trust on you? (yesssss, please!)
  • 1º BACHILLERATO: Are you going to motivate me, class? ;-)  Well, in class we are studying the present perfect... So can you translate the sentence: "alguna vez has sentido....?"              Also, I've got some questions for you such as: Do you like the song? How many verbal tenses can you distinguish here? Are you fireworks?
These are just ideas, but the most important thing is that you listen , watch and COMMENT!! Thanks!!

  1. Hi encarni!! It is the first time on that I comment, and not if it will realize it well, but there I go!!

The sentence for that you have asked us to translate: " Do you ever feel ...? " It is repeated very much at song :P
This song was listened by my a lot of time ago, and I like me very much. The letter is very motivating and hostess, especially I like the sentence: ''cause baby you're a firework came on, show them what you're worth make 'em go oh, as you shoot across the sky " :) it is precious. I think that it is the best song to that you can listen when you are depressed.

I have liked very much your Blog, it will comment often.

(I also did a Blog to myself to work of computer studies, but it is not so good as yours hehe)

  2. Remember: present perfect Have you ever feel...? Even if we listen here: Do yu ever feel...? I'm glad for you, because I'm sure you will improve a lot. It is not the same doing exercises that "speaking" or "writing" to communicate! Here I just want to do the second thing: COMMUNICATE!! Mistakes are not so important... For that reason, I prefer you not to use translators... just your own vocabulary (or look for some words in a dictionary if it is necessary for U).
    WELL DONE!!!!

  3. I have felt like a firework many times: every time I watch a good film or read a good book or listen to a song like this one. These things make me happy and I've realised this is a great metaphor: feel like a firework!!

  4. I think it is one of the best feelings one can ever get to feel: a firework, an explosion from the inside outwards! I´ve loved the song and the further comments. Encarni, you´re a firework as well!!!

  6. I know that feeling, my dear, and I sometimes miss that explosion inside. It is something difficult to forget and to live without. I always expect the next come... All these projects we are sharing together make me feel alive, and I hope we never lose this enthusiasm!!! I love having you around, my dear!
